CAPRA was developed by the University of California, San Francisco as a prostate risk assessment tool. It was based on a cohort of radical prostatectomy patients (n=1439) from the CaPSUREā„¢ database. It allows one to quickly give one's patient a risk assessment before surgery with very few input parameters (PSA, Gleason Score, Clinical Stage, % of Positive Biopsy Cores, and the Age of the patient). I was tired of carrying around a laminated quick reference guide and decided to code an iPhone app to calculate the probable pathological outcomes and disease-free survival.

If you have any problems using the program, please report them at Tracker
